Peter Tollan

Peter Tollan is an experienced analytical manager currently employed at Gubelin since December 2021. Prior to this role, Peter served as a senior scientist at ETH Zürich from January 2020 to December 2021, where responsibilities included managing a laser ablation ICP-MS lab. At the University of Bern from September 2016 to January 2020, Peter worked as a postdoctoral research fellow, focusing on technique development in Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and laser-ablation mass spectrometry. Peter also held the position of mass spectrometry/laser-ablation lab manager at The Australian National University from April 2015 to July 2016, overseeing lab management and user training. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Geochemistry and Petrology from Durham University and a Master in Science in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Bristol.
