Weimin Thor

Weimin Thor is an Acoustics Engineer currently working at Gulfstream Aerospace since October 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Technical Engineer specializing in Vibro-Acoustics at ESI Group from March 2020 to September 2023, where Weimin conducted NVH CAE analysis using various techniques and developed custom scripts for software enhancements. Academic involvement includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University from May 2016 to December 2019, focusing on acoustics and noise control, as well as participating in undergraduate research. Additional experience includes an internship in Aftersales Engineering at Daimler AG and a Quality Assurance Engineering internship at Shanghai GES Information Technology. Weimin holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and has participated in a study abroad program at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
