Cathy Friedman

Cathy Friedman is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in venture capital and board governance. Currently serving as an Executive Venture Partner at GV since January 2022, Friedman also holds board memberships at Lyell Immunopharma, Altaba.com, and Seer, with previous board roles at Revolution Health Acquisition Corp and GRAIL, Inc. Notably, Friedman was Chairperson at GRAIL, Inc. from August 2017 to January 2022. From 2015 to 2021, Friedman was a board member at Radius Health, Inc. and spent 23 years at Morgan Stanley, culminating as Managing Director. Friedman holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Harvard University.
