Carlos Henrique Alvarez

Carlos Henrique Alvarez is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership and operations management across the automotive and life sciences sectors. Currently serving as the General Director for South America at GVS Filter Technology since March 2007, Carlos has been instrumental in defining and deploying business strategies, managing key customer relationships, and implementing operational plans aligned with lean manufacturing principles. Prior to this role, Carlos held significant positions at Faurecia, including Plant Manager and Production Manager, where the focus was on financial accountability, project management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Academic credentials include an MBA from INSEAD and another from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, alongside an engineering degree from Universidade Santa Cecília.
