Neal Sikka serves as the Covid-19 Re-opening Physician Consultant for GW MFA COVID-19 Re-Opening Services since June 2020 and has held the position of Chief Medical Officer at Grapevine Health since 2019. As a Professor in Emergency Medicine at The George Washington University since July 2003, Neal Sikka engages in clinical teaching and research focused on patient access to care, patient education, health information, telemedicine, and mobile health. Additionally, in the role of Director of the Innovative Practice and Telehealth Section, Neal Sikka explores the application of telemedicine solutions for acute emergency care and mobile technology in emergency triage. Neal Sikka also directs courses related to telemedicine and emergency medicine at The George Washington University, with prior experience as Chief Medical Officer at 22otters from July 2013 to July 2016 and active membership in the American Telemedicine Association since 2010. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
