Tisha Johnson

Tisha Johnson is an accomplished design leader with extensive experience in the automotive and design industries. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Michigan and Head of Design at Slate, Tisha is exploring opportunities in the electric car space. Previous roles include Vice President and Head of Global Consumer Design at Whirlpool Corporation, Vice President of Global Product Design at Herman Miller, and Vice President of Interior Design at Volvo Car Group, where Tisha was responsible for significant design initiatives. Tisha has also contributed to education as a Transportation Design Instructor at Art Center College of Design and led projects as Principal of Trendviz Studio. Tisha's background includes strategic design management at Milliken & Company and senior design roles at Volvo Cars of North America, showcasing a commitment to innovative and research-driven design solutions. An alumnus of ArtCenter College of Design, Tisha has a solid foundation in design principles and practices.
