Emmanuel López

Emmanuel López, M.A., serves as the Director of the Latinx Resource Center at Governors State University, focusing on programs to recruit, retain, and graduate Latinx students in collaboration with community organizations. Previous roles include Assistant Director of Transfer Admissions and Bilingual Recruiting Specialist, where responsibilities included enhancing communication strategies and building relationships with community colleges. In addition to work at Governors State University, López holds leadership positions as Vice-Chair and Marketing Committee Chair at the HACE Young Professionals Board. Other experiences include a fellowship with Possible, assisting in multicultural student affairs at Northwestern University, and engagements in various educational and marketing roles across several institutions. López earned a Master’s of Arts in Higher Education Leadership from Northeastern Illinois University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Indiana University Northwest.
