Samuel Agahiu

Samuel Agahiu has extensive experience in the field of nephrology, currently serving as the Ethics Committee Chair at Hackensack Meridian Health since February 2022, while simultaneously holding positions as Nephrology Attending at Bergen Kidney Center, P.C. and as the owner and Nephrology Attending at Samuel A. Agahiu MD, PLLC since October 2013. Previous experience includes a role as Nephrology Attending at Stuart M. Homer MD and Associates from September 2012 to September 2013, and completion of a Nephrology Fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center from July 2010 to June 2012. Early in the career, Samuel Agahiu worked in Internal Medicine at North Shore-LIJ Health System from 2007 to 2010. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Albany Medical College, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Applied Psychology PreMed from Ithaca College, and a Master of Science (MS) in Biotechnology from Worcester State University.
