Ryan Ransford

Ryan Ransford is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in application development and engineering. Currently employed at Hagerty since August 2022, Ryan specializes in developing ingestion and ETL processes utilizing technologies such as Python, Airflow, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes, all within an Azure environment. Prior to this, Ryan worked at Wood Mackenzie from May 2012 to August 2022 as a senior engineer, contributing to front-end applications and middleware for real-time data delivery. Other notable roles include positions at Springleaf Financial Services, JPMorgan Chase, and American General Financial Services, where Ryan demonstrated expertise in full life-cycle development using various programming languages and frameworks, as well as strong contributions to process improvements and technology standardization. Ryan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Evansville.
