Usman Hamid

Usman Hamid is an accomplished technology leader currently serving as the VP Design & Engineering at Haleon since July 2022, overseeing the Global Design & Engineering division across 90 countries. Previously, Usman held the title of VP Architecture & Engineering at GSK, where responsibilities included establishing a new architecture practice during the de-merger that created Haleon. Usman has also led infrastructure strategy and architecture at Barclays, and held significant roles at the BBC, Redfern, QVC, Rossendale Borough Council, and Mighty Atom Records, focusing on IT services, product development, and strategic initiatives. Usman holds an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School and a BS in Computer Science from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
