Robert Powell

Robert Powell is an executive leader with extensive experience in safety management across various healthcare and construction settings. Currently serving as the Executive Director at Hamad Medical Corporation since October 2021, Robert previously held the position of Facility Safety Manager at Sidra Medicine from May 2016 to July 2020, where responsibilities included hospital safety and fire protection. Additional roles include Senior Project Environmental, Health & Safety Manager at Lend Lease, Director of Safety at NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation, and multiple safety-focused positions at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, Harrison Fire Department, General Accident Insurance Company, and New York Telephone Company. Robert holds a Master’s in Protection Management from John Jay College, a certification as a Healthcare Safety Professional, and has completed several safety-related educational programs.
