Danika Bernard

Danika Bernard is a highly experienced library professional currently serving as Branch Manager at Hamilton Public Library since August 2024. Previously, Danika worked at Oakville Public Library from 2016 to July 2024, holding various titles including Manager of Program Design, where leadership of an interdisciplinary team focused on developing innovative services and establishing partnerships with over 100 organizations. Danika has also contributed as Supervisor of Customer Experience and Technology Librarian, implementing significant improvements in customer service and technological integration. Earlier roles include Children's Librarian at St. Albert Public Library, Family Support Supervisor at Family Futures Resource Network, Community Librarian at Edmonton Public Library, and various positions that emphasized community engagement and digital literacy. Danika holds a Master of Library and Information Science from Western University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Guelph.
