Chriselle Vaz

Chriselle Vaz is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in social work and counseling. Currently serving as a School Social Worker at Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board since February 2021, Chriselle also runs Chriselle Vaz Counselling Services, providing individual, couple, and family therapy using various therapeutic modalities. Previous roles include Community Resource Lead at The SPACE Youth Centre, where Chriselle created supportive environments for marginalized youth, and Men's Anti-Violence Counsellor at Catholic Family Services of Hamilton. Chriselle's academic qualifications include a Master of Social Work and an Honours Bachelor of Social Work from McMaster University, complemented by significant contributions to equity and inclusion initiatives during university.
