Alan Wright

Alan Wright is an experienced architect and software engineering leader with a strong background in storage systems and software development. Currently serving as an Architect at Hammerspace since December 2021, Alan also holds the position of Senior Director of Software Engineering at Safran Passenger Innovations, where responsibilities include in-flight entertainment software development and delivery. Previous roles include Director of Software Development at Stellus Technologies and Technical Director positions at both EMC and NetApp, focusing on data protection and network-attached storage solutions. Alan's earlier experience includes significant contributions to the Solaris operating system at Sun Microsystems and Oracle, and extensive work with various operating systems and network protocols throughout a career that began in 1998.
