Erica Spencer

Erica Spencer is currently the Coordinator of Business Partner Integration at Hampton City Schools, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this, Erica served as Senior Business Development Manager for Small Business & Workforce Development at the City of Hampton from August 2018 to October 2023, focusing on the growth of minority procurement and supporting minority-owned, women-owned, and small businesses. Earlier roles include Minority Business Coordinator in Economic Development at the City of Hampton and Senior Internal Auditor at the City of Newport News, where Erica conducted financial and compliance audits. Erica's extensive experience in internal auditing also includes a tenure as an Internal Auditor at Canon Virginia, Inc., where significant cost savings were achieved through effective auditing practices. Erica holds an MBA from Saint Leo University and a BBA in Human Resources Management from Strayer University.
