Shalena O'Connell

Shalena O'Connell is a seasoned operations leader with extensive experience in revenue recognition and deal structuring across prominent technology companies. Since April 2017, Shalena has served as Senior Vice President of Operations at MongoDB, leading key teams including Global Deal Strategy, which partners with sales to drive deal growth. Prior to MongoDB, Shalena held significant roles at LinkedIn, where responsibilities included building the International Revenue Recognition team, and at Microsoft, Red Hat, Netgear, and Avery Dennison, focusing on revenue accounting and financial management. Shalena holds an Executive MBA from Trinity College Dublin and a B.Sc.(Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, along with ACCA accreditation.
