Chad Jones

Chad Jones is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in quality engineering and sourcing. Currently serving as a Senior Quality Engineer at Proterra Inc since April 2022, Chad previously held roles including Indirect Site Sourcing Leader at GE, Corporate Sourcing Analyst at Milliken & Company, and Sr. Process Engineer at TIMET. Notable prior experience includes serving as an Officer Electrical Engineering Instructor and Division Director for Future Instructors in the US Navy, along with a position as an Electronics Technician for the US Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Coast Guard. Chad earned an Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University and a Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Medicine from The University of Alabama. Additionally, Chad contributed to gas turbine research during undergraduate studies, focusing on increasing turbine efficiency through advanced heat transfer methodologies.
