Chris Sloan

Chris Sloan is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as a Crude Oil Analyst at Hartree Partners since September 2024. Previously, Chris held positions as a Trading Analyst at BB Energy from March 2020 to September 2024 and as a Refined Products Analyst at Castleton Commodities International between December 2010 and February 2020. Earlier in the career, Chris worked as an Optimization Engineer at Western Refining from January 2007 to October 2010 and gained foundational experience as a Process Engineer and Project Engineer at ConocoPhillips from June 2002 to December 2006. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University, completed in 2002.
