Soila Kananen

Soila Kananen is a seasoned professional in product development and innovation, currently serving as a Product Development Manager at Hartwall since May 2022. Prior to this role, Kananen held various positions at Valio from March 2013 to May 2022, including Innovation Manager and Product Development Manager, focusing on the development of matured cheese and swiss-type cheese products. Kananen's earlier experience includes serving as a Research Manager and Product Developer at Valio, along with a tenure as a PhD student at the Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen. Kananen holds a PhD in Food Science from the University of Copenhagen and a Master's degree in Chemical Technology from Teknillinen korkeakoulu, complemented by an exchange program at ETH Zürich in Food Science.
