Tony Jimenez

Tony Jimenez, PhD, is a seasoned educational administrator currently serving as the Associate Dean of Students at the University of California, Riverside, since August 2024. Jimenez has a diverse background that includes roles as a Pre-Health Advisor at Harvey Mudd College and Dean of Students for Chicano Latino Student Affairs at the Claremont University Consortium. Additional leadership experiences involve participation in various NASPA programs aimed at aspiring vice presidents for student affairs and support for Latinx professionals in the field. Previous roles include Project Director for the California Alliance for Minority Participation at UC Merced and MD/PhD Coordinator at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Academically, Jimenez holds an Ed.M from Harvard University, a PhD from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a BA from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
