Sandeep Basra

Sandeep (Soni) Basra is a Partner and Patent Attorney at HLK since September 2015, authorized to represent clients before multiple patent offices including the GPTO, FPC, EPO, and OHIM. Prior roles include Senior Associate and Patent Attorney at df-mp from November 2007 to August 2015, focusing on patent prosecution, opposition, and infringement matters, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector. Sandeep's academic background includes postdoctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania and Technische Universität Berlin, specializing in organometallic catalysts and synthetic methods, as well as a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Bristol and a B.Sc. from Imperial College London.
