Senate Amusu

Senate Amusu, MBBS MPH, is an experienced Infectious Diseases Physician currently practicing at Hattiesburg Clinic, PA since February 2023. Senate served as Chief Fellow and Infectious Diseases Fellow at the University of Illinois Chicago from July 2020 to June 2022. Prior to that, Senate completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Jacobi Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine from July 2017 to June 2020. Additional experience includes serving as a Research Coordinator with the U.S. Department of Defense Walter Reed Program in Nigeria from January 2015 to April 2017, and as a Consultant for the Stop TB Partnership at the World Health Organization in July 2014. Senate's early career includes roles as a Medical Officer with the Lagos State Government and as a Medical House Officer at Lagos University Teaching Hospital. Education includes a Master of Public Health from Yale University and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Lagos State University.
