Tandy Tabata

Tandy Tabata has extensive experience in the energy and disaster management sectors, currently serving as Product Manager and previously as Senior Program Manager for Electrification of Transportation at Hawaiian Electric since May 2009. Roles at Hawaiian Electric also include Senior Corporate Analyst and Corporate Analyst in Strategic Planning, along with leadership as Education and Consumer Affairs Administrator. Prior to this, Tandy Tabata worked as a Technical Writer at the Center for Excellence in Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance from September 2008 to May 2009, and held various director-level positions at the Pacific & Asian Affairs Council from January 2004 to January 2008. Tandy Tabata holds an MBA in International Business from the University of Hawai‘i - Shidler College of Business and a BA in Communications from Lewis & Clark College. Education also includes graduating from Punahou School.
