Before joining Hawkins\Brown, Marta gained a wealth of academic and professional experience across Poland, Germany and the Netherlands. She was also involved in various scale refurbishment projects in London.
Marta completed her MSc in Architecture at Delft University of Technology, where she developed a strong interest in the Dutch approach to place making, which contributes meaningfully to human interactions and the built environment.
Marta’s final thesis explored various approaches to regeneration of post-soviet cities. Her design of urban intervention in central Warsaw, a conflicted urban space touched by difficult history, received a Distinction and has been shortlisted as Delft nominee for Archiprix.
At Hawkins\Brown she is involved in a large-scale regeneration project of Roehampton, with focus on a new nursery school.
In her free time Marta pursues her interest in fashion and jewellery design and enjoys exploring London’s design and contemporary art scene.
