Andrew Benson

Andrew Benson is an experienced legal professional with a strong background in investment funds and pensions law. Currently serving as Legal Counsel - Director at Hayfin Capital Management LLP since November 2024, Andrew previously held the position of Senior Legal Counsel at Gresham House from November 2022 to October 2024. Andrew's earlier roles include Investment Funds Senior Counsel and Pensions Solicitor at Travers Smith, as well as various secondee positions at abrdn, Federated Hermes, and Capital Generation Partners. Andrew began a legal career as an Associate Pensions Solicitor at Charles Russell LLP after completing the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the University of Nottingham.
