Appointed to the Board as non executive director in 2009. Has had an outstanding career in public service including positions of Secretary to the treasury, Secretary, Ministries of Finance, Agriculture, Mahaweli Development, Public Administration and Plantation Industries. Has served as Government Agent, Batticaloa. Has also been a consultant to UN organizations.
