Dillon Huffman

Dillon Huffman currently serves as the Public Information Officer for Haywood County, NC, a position held since October 2023. Previously, Dillon was the Public Information Officer for Asheville City Schools from December 2019 to October 2023. Additional experience includes roles as an Anchor/Reporter at WNCT 9 On Your Side and WTVY, as well as a Video Editor at WSPA-TV 7 News. Dillon's career began in news reporting and anchoring at Isothermal Community College, complemented by experience as a Pharmacy Technician and as a Newsroom Intern at WYFF News 4 and WSPA-TV 7 News. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Louisiana State University at Alexandria (2022-2024) and an Associate of Applied Science in Broadcast Journalism from Isothermal Community College (2013-2016).
