Tejas Bhatia

Tejas Bhatia is an accomplished professional in the banking and financial services sector, currently serving as Deputy Vice President and Digital Product Manager at HDFC Bank since February 2022, focusing on building a comprehensive Digital Merchant Acquiring and Payment Acceptance stack at SmartHub. Prior to this role, Tejas held the position of Product Head for UPI, IMPS, NEFT, and RTGS at HDFC Bank from July 2011 to September 2021, where partnerships with various fintechs led to the acquisition of over 60 million users on HDFC Bank UPI handles and the successful launch of UPI payments on the bank's MobileBanking App and PayZapp in 2016.
