Wyeth Ruthven

Wyeth Ruthven is an accomplished media trainer and public relations expert, currently serving as the Lead Media Trainer and CEO of Huntingtower Strategies since January 2022, and as the Director of Congressional and Public Relations for the Health Industry Distributors Association since November 2021. Ruthven has extensive experience in shaping public messaging and media strategies through roles such as Vice President at MSLGROUP, where over 1,000 executives received media training, and Managing Director at Qorvis Communications, where successful grassroots strategies were developed. Previous positions include Press Secretary for Congressman Lloyd Doggett, Communications Director for the South Carolina Democratic Party, and Chief Speechwriter for Governor Jim Hodges. Ruthven holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. in Latin American Studies and Economics from the University of Virginia.
