Randa Perkins

Randa Perkins, MD, MBA, FAMIA, currently serves as a Committee Member on the Health IT Advisory Committee at the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) since January 2024. In addition, Randa Perkins is the Chief Medical Information Officer and Senior Director of Clinical Informatics at Moffitt Cancer Center, roles held since February 2017, and also participates as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Oncologic Sciences at the University of South Florida since January 2018. Prior experience includes roles at Florida State University’s College of Medicine as clinical faculty, a board member at Big Bend Cares, and the Executive Director of Medical Informatics at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. Randa Perkins holds an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MD from Florida State University College of Medicine, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Florida State University and completed a Family Medicine Residency at TMH.
