John Armstrong

John Armstrong is an accomplished actuary and health economist with extensive experience in the insurance sector and academia. Currently serving as Head of Actuarial at Allianz Worldwide Partners and a Board Member at the Health Insurance Authority, John has been influential in shaping health policies and practices. John has held roles in underwriting and pricing at Aviva Health Insurance Ireland and Aviva Europe, and previously served as Chief Actuary at Vhi Healthcare. In academia, John is a Researcher at the Institute of Health Policy & Management at Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Lecturer in Health Economics at the Institute of Public Administration in Dublin. John Armstrong holds a BA in Mathematics & Economics from Trinity College Dublin and has furthered studies at Georgetown University.
