Andrew Murphy-Pittock

Andrew Murphy-Pittock has extensive experience in education and management within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Director and Head of Professional Education at the Health Services Safety Investigations Body (HSSIB) since March 2022, Andrew leads initiatives aimed at improving patient safety through independent investigations and training. Andrew holds additional positions as GMC Education Associate for PA programmes since September 2021 and has previously contributed as Deputy Head of Learning and Head of Undergraduate Medical Education at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, overseeing clinical placements for medical students. Andrew's expertise is further complemented by a diverse background in operational management, project leadership, and significant academic qualifications, including an Executive MBA from the University of Hull.
