Matt Mikaelian

Matt Mikaelian, LMSW, currently serves as the Director of Performance Measurement at the Health & Welfare Council of Long Island, focusing on performance-based funding for community-based organizations under New York's Medicaid 1115 waiver. Previously, Matt held the role of Senior Director of Quality Assurance and Data Analytics at Greater Mental Health of New York, where a division was created to enhance agency-wide program oversight. Matt's extensive experience includes management positions at Community Healthcare Network, where responsibilities involved launching new grants for HIV prevention services, and advisory roles at NYU Langone Medical Center and The Center for HIV Law and Policy. Matt's career also includes quality improvement initiatives at The Center for Discovery and crisis counseling and training roles with Middle Earth Peer Assistance Program. Educational achievements include a Master of Social Work from Adelphi University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University at Albany.
