James A. Palmer

James A. Palmer has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, holding various leadership positions over several decades. Currently serving in Operations at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. since October 2016, Palmer previously was the Area Vice President at Golden Living from October 2013 to September 2016. Earlier roles include Executive Vice President for Development, Facilities & Support Services at UPMC Community Provider Services and UPMC Senior Services from 2008 to March 2013, and Chief Operating Officer at UPMC Senior Communities from 2004 to 2008. Palmer's career began at Manor Care Health Services as Administrator/Executive Director from 1988 to 1994, followed by Regional Vice President of Operations at Integrated Health Services from January 1994 to August 2004.
