Jenny Shen

Dr. Jenny Shen is an Associate Professor of Medicine at UCLA. and a board-certified practicing nephrologist at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, a safety net hospital. Her research focuses on assessing and improving outcomes of patients with chronic kidney disease, particularly in the area of health disparities. Her work has included using large databases (“big data”) to improve outcomes at a population health level. She received her MD from Columbia University, completed her internal medicine training at UCLA, and completed her nephrology fellowship and earned a master’s degree in Epidemiology from Stanford University.
