Deborah Taylor Tate is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in telecommunications, law, and governance. Tate served as the Former FCC Commissioner and Special Envoy to the International Telecommunications Union and currently holds board positions at HealthStream and the US Minority Media & Telecommunications Council. Additionally, Tate has contributed as a Distinguished Senior Adjunct Fellow at the Free State Foundation and as Executive-in-Residence at Lipscomb University. Previous roles include notable leadership positions, such as Executive Director - Emeritus for the Tennessee Supreme Court/AOC. Tate's commitment to empowering women and minorities in telecommunications is reflected in efforts to engage with key stakeholders in media and education. Educated at the University of Tennessee and Vanderbilt University Law School, Tate has participated in significant initiatives like the Healthy Media Commission and the Aspen Institute's Task Force on Internet and Learning.
