Laura Lavender

Laura Lavender is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Director of Inclusion at Heart of Yorkshire Education Group since January 2023. Prior to this role, Laura was the Head of Inclusion at Wakefield College from April 2020 to January 2023. Laura's extensive career at Calderdale College from September 2010 to April 2020 included positions such as Inclusive Learning Manager, Advanced Learning Practitioner, Employability and Life Skills Team Leader, College Lecturer, and Schools Liaison Assistant / Dyslexia Link Tutor. Laura holds a PGCE in Education from The University of Huddersfield and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Anthropology from the University of Kent.
