Sharon Smith

Sharon Smith has extensive experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as Head of Operational Safety Improvement at Heathrow since November 2010, where additional roles include Head of Health and Safety and Head of Health & Safety Strategy and Operations. Prior to this, Sharon held positions at Southampton Airport from July 2005 to November 2010, including Airside Compliance Manager and Customer Service Team Leader. Earlier experience includes serving as Ops & Office Manager at Bournemouth Helicopters from September 1998 to July 2005. Sharon holds a BSc in Aviation Management & Operations from London Metropolitan University.
