Jeanette Florence

Jeanette and her husband, John, are parents to three Heathwood students: John (class of 2026), Sam (class of 2028), and Charlie (class of 2032). Jeanette received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Presbyterian College and a Master of Human Resources from the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business. Prior to staying home with her children, Jeanette held leadership Organizational Development positions in the banking and manufacturing industries, focusing on leadership development, diversity, and succession planning.

Jeanette is very active in the Heathwood community. She has served for several years as Heathwood Classroom Parent and has been a grade-level representative for the Heathwood Parent Association, where she also co-chaired the Teacher Appreciation Committee. Jeanette has volunteered on numerous committees, including the Auction Committee and Heathwood Connections, and also has served as the grade level representative for the Annual Fund.

Jeanette and John are members of Eastminster Presbyterian Church.
