Gal Raviv

Gal Raviv is an experienced leader in the education and youth sectors, currently serving as the Director of the Gap Year Department and Regional Director for the Jerusalem District at the Hebrew Scouts Movement in Israel since November 2014. Responsibilities include management and mentoring of 50 employees, 40 volunteers, and 15 local branches, along with oversight of missions, recruitment, and personnel training. Prior roles include Regional Coordinator for the "snat sherut program" in Jerusalem, a Youth Counselor for at-risk youth, and an intern at the Israeli Knesset providing legislative assistance. Gal's military experience includes serving as a Commander and Education Officer in the Israel Defense Forces. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education from Tel Aviv University and a degree in Social Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
