Maximilian Voigt

Maximilian Voigt is an Assistant Professor of Finance at HEC Montréal since August 2024. Voigt serves on the Supervisory Boards of The Digital Workforce Group AG and Digital Finance Argonauts, having previously held a management board position at Digital Finance Argonauts. From September 2018 to September 2024, Voigt was a Doctoral Researcher at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management while also holding a dual position at Heidelberg University. Voigt gained experience as a Summer Analyst in M&A at Macquarie Group and completed internships at foodpanda, Armira, and CPC Unternehmensmanagement AG. Academic qualifications include a PhD candidacy at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, a visiting assistant role at Yale University, a Master of Science in Financial Economics from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Science in Management, Philosophy & Economics from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Further academic experience includes coursework in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics at Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
