Agostino Rizzo

Agostino Rizzo serves as the Technical Director for Heidelberg Materials in Italy since December 2013, overseeing production, maintenance, quality, environmental, personnel, and financial activities within the company's cement plants, which are the largest in Italy. Prior to this role, Agostino held various positions including Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Italsacci SpA, Board Member at Prometeo Lucania and Cementi della Lucania, and Production Director for the Italcementi Group, managing all cement plants in Italy and specific regions. Agostino's career began with roles as a Project Engineer at CRATI - University of Calabria and as a Thesis Worker at Elasis. Agostino completed a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Energy at Università della Calabria.
