Chiara Villani

Chiara Villani is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering and project management, currently serving as the Group 3D Printing Manager at Heidelberg Materials since May 2022. Prior to this role, Chiara managed global projects and technology at MBCC Group and BASF, focusing on innovation in product and process development. Chiara's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, as well as master's and bachelor's degrees in Structural Engineering from Politecnico di Torino. Additional experience includes roles as a Post Doctoral Research Associate, Doctoral Candidate, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and Product Development Engineer at esteemed institutions and companies.
