Mauro Clemenzi

Mauro Clemenzi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the cement industry, currently serving as the Director of the Competence Center Cement Europe and Head of Operational Excellence at Heidelberg Materials since August 2016. Prior to this, Mauro Clemenzi held various managerial positions at Italcementi Group from July 1996 to September 2024, including Process, Quality & Energy Department Manager, Process Department Manager, and Process & Commissioning Manager, with notable projects such as the Matera Plant Revamping Project in Italy and the Martinsburg New Line Project in the USA. Mauro Clemenzi holds a Laurea in Ingegneria Chimica from Sapienza Università di Roma, earned between 1987 and 1994.
