Josef Hoerner

Josef Hoerner is a seasoned professional in the field of internal auditing with over three decades of experience. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of the Internal Audit Office in New York at Landesbank Hessen-Thueringen since August 2011, Josef oversees the operations of this office. Prior to this role, Josef spent nearly 24 years at UniCredit Bank AG, concluding as Managing Director and Head of Internal Auditing for the Americas, managing the New York based internal audit unit. Josef also held various positions in internal auditing in both Germany and the United States. Josef holds a degree from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, where studies were completed from 1982 to 1987.
