David Mccandless

David Mccandless is a Board Member at Heligenics and was previously with Guardant Health. Prior to Guardant Health, David was with BayICT Partnership from June 2016 to February 2019 where they were the Co-Founder. David has also been an Advisory Board Member for the Harold Frank Engineering Entrepreneurship Institute from May 2009 to July 2018 and for the CIO Fisher IT Center from April 2007 to May 2018. David was also Vice President IT at Navis from December 2006 to August 2019.

David McCandless earned their master’s degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. David also holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Washington State University. In addition, they have earned certifications from ISACA in CDPSE Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer and CISA Certified Information Systems Auditor. David is also certified by the National Association of Rocketry as a Level 1 High Powered Rocketry Certification.
