Melissa Seymour

Melissa Seymour, LMHC, Master CASAC, is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as Training Institute Team Leader, Training Specialist, and Counselor II at Helio Health, Inc. since August 2019. Previously, Melissa worked as an EAP Counselor and Program Coordinator at Capital Counseling, providing mental health services to individuals, couples, families, and adolescents, and facilitating various training workshops. With extensive experience in psycho-educational group therapy aimed at supporting individuals with severe mental illnesses, Melissa has also held roles as an ongoing rehabilitation support counselor and a therapist intern. Melissa holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University at Albany and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in English and Philosophy.
