Karl Keller

Karl Keller is an experienced maritime professional with a solid background in navigation and cargo handling. Currently serving as a 2nd Mate / SDPO at Helix Energy Solutions Group since September 2018, Karl has previously held the position of Sr. DPO at Transocean from September 2008 to November 2016 and worked as a 2nd Mate at Hornblower from May 2003 to June 2008. Earlier in career, Karl served as a 3rd Mate at Coastal Tankships between January 1991 and April 2002. Karl Keller graduated with a Bachelor's degree in History from Louisiana State University, attending from 1979 to 1984, and completed education at Subiaco Academy from 1976 to 1979.
