Rubens Ferreira

Rubens Ferreira is an experienced maritime professional with a Bachelor's degree in Nautical Science from EFOMM, obtained between 2009 and 2013. Rubens has held various positions in well intervention and navigation, currently serving as DPO for Helix Energy Solutions Group since July 2022. Prior roles include Navigation Officer with Bram Offshore and Junior DPO with Constellation Oil Services. Rubens's career includes significant contributions at ABC Maritime AG and Siem Offshore, with expertise in dynamic positioning operations, safety management, and navigation across several maritime basins in Brazil and West Africa. Rubens's early career featured training as a Deck Cadet with Maersk Supply Service, where skills in oil spill response and dynamic positioning were developed.
