Ioannis Manuelidis graduated from Athens College in 1976 and earned his degrees from Princeton University (AB Philosophy, 1980), the University of Chicago (MA Philosophy, 1983) and Cambridge University (BA Law 1985). He is a qualified solicitor of England, a former member of the Paris Bar and a partner in the law firm Allen & Overy in London. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of Queen Mary's Center for Commercial Law Studies, University of London, a Commissioner of the Hellenic Foundation and a member of the International Law Society's Working Group on Governmental Debt.
